A little about me and some encouraging words

I can not alway find the words I need and it can be so frustrating to have something to say but not be able to say it as you don't have the words or its difficult to explain. I try to let my guard down more often but it can be hard. I am a quirky kind of person I tend to be so random, goofy, crazy, unserious, Confident, bold, I say some of the most ridicules things that make my friends laugh and shake their heads at me.  I can be serious but I'm often told i am not serious enough. I am a romantic at heart really far more then people know.

Everyone in life has their own ups and downs and we forget there's a whole big world out there rather then just our own little one.

We all try so hard to be perfect, to be what others want us to be but thats not what we should be doing. We should want the things we do for us and not for others. We should strive to succeed for ourselves. Be beautiful for you be bold and be you for thats the best you are and you are perfect just the way you are.  You are the best when you are just you. Accept yourself for you are beautiful inside and out.

Try is a great song listen to it and remember don't try so hard just be you. And if people don't like you for you or friends then get those people out of your life they will only do more harm then good.

As a writer myself. I don't  Call my journal a diary, i used to call my journal a diary but i really dislike the word its not  a word i like to use. Its hard to explain really. But part of it has to do with Anne Frank.

Ice Cream

Ice cream! Nothing better then ice cream. the worst thing is when you have ice cream int he house and everyone can eat it but you as you have a cold. That crisis is now over! yesssss  Ice cream for me.

I am a reble at times, I admit  when the urge for ice cream is to great i'll be up in the middle of the night for just one taste which normally turns into two or three and then a whole bowl full. Thankfully  my will power can be at times stronger then my desire for ice cream. Though if its chocolate then there is nothing to stop me!

In this third book in the Lunar Chronicles, Cinder and Captain Thorne are fugitives on the run, now with Scarlet and Wolf in tow. Together, they’re plotting to overthrow Queen Levana and her army.Their best hope lies with Cress, a girl imprisoned on a satellite since childhood who's only ever had her netscreens as company. All that screen time has made Cress an excellent hacker. Unfortunately, she’s just received orders from Levana to track down Cinder and her handsome accomplice. When a daring rescue of Cress goes awry, the group is separated. Cress finally has her freedom, but it comes at a high price. Meanwhile, Queen Levana will let nothing prevent her marriage to Emperor Kai. Cress, Scarlet, and Cinder may not have signed up to save the world, but they may be the only hope the world has.
Cress fully lived up to my expectations and i really loved it as the other books have been so splendid.
Now to wait a whole year or more for the next book
The characters and the storyline continues to get interesting. I really enjoy how the story flows and the charters react to the different situations.

I really don't know how to explain this series other then its awesome my thoughts are like this  I happened across this in one of the goodreads comments.

Opening paragraph:
Her satellite made one full orbit around planet Earth every sixteen hours. It was a prison that came with an endlessly breathtaking view—vast blue oceans and swirling clouds and sunrises that set half the world on fire.

Teaser Sentence as Randomly Selected by Twitter. From page 28:
“I don’t mind the scars.” He shrugged, his eyes taking on a mischievous spark. “They hold better memories now than they used to.”

Read in June of 2014

So The first book Cinder Is basically cinderella,
Scarlet would be little red riding hood, and Cress would be  rapunzel i think. The next book which is titled Winter will most likely be about snow white. Look down below for them.

Cinder, the cyborg mechanic, returns in the second thrilling installment of the bestselling Lunar Chronicles. She's trying to break out of prison--even though if she succeeds, she'll be the Commonwealth's most wanted fugitive. Halfway around the world, Scarlet Benoit's grandmother is missing. It turns out there are many things Scarlet doesn't know about her grandmother or the grave danger she has lived in her whole life. When Scarlet encounters Wolf, a street fighter who may have information as to her grandmother's whereabouts, she is loath to trust this stranger, but is inexplicably drawn to him, and he to her. As Scarlet and Wolf unravel one mystery, they encounter another when they meet Cinder. Now, all of them must stay one step ahead of the vicious Lunar Queen Levana, who will do anything for the handsome Prince Kai to become her husband, her king, her prisoner.(
The sequel to Cinder was action packed and exciting  I really enjoyed the new characters and the plot twists to the story line.

Read in May of 2014

Cinder, a gifted mechanic, is a cyborg. She’s a second-class citizen with a mysterious past, reviled by her stepmother and blamed for her stepsister’s illness. But when her life becomes intertwined with the handsome Prince Kai’s, she suddenly finds herself at the center of an intergalactic struggle, and a forbidden attraction. Caught between duty and freedom, loyalty and betrayal, she must uncover secrets about her past in order to protect her world’s future.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXrMAFGWyuE

The Fall of Five (Lorien Legacies #4)

The Garde are finally reunited, but do they have what it takes to win the war against the Mogadorians?

John Smith—Number Four—thought that things would change once the Garde found each other. They would stop running. They would fight the Mogadorians. And they would win.
But he was wrong. After facing off with the Mogadorian ruler and almost being annihilated, the Garde know they are drastically unprepared and hopelessly outgunned. Now they’re hiding out in Nine’s Chicago penthouse, trying to figure out their next move.
The six of them are powerful, but they’re not strong enough yet to take on an entire army—even with the return of an old ally. To defeat their enemy, the Garde must master their Legacies and learn to work together as a team. More importantly, they’ll have to discover the truth about the Elders and their plan for the Loric survivors.
And when the Garde receive a sign from Number Five—a crop circle in the shape of a Loric symbol—they know they are so close to being reunited. But could it be a trap? Time is running out, and the only thing they know for certain is that they have to get to Five before it’s too late.
The Garde may have lost battles, but they will not lose this war.
Lorien will rise again.

Goodreads description

The Fall of Five was pretty good, It has many plot twists and was not what i thought it was going to be.
Seeing as it has been awhile since i read The rise of nine book three It took me a bit to recall the story and the characters, Way to big of a gap between reading the other books, but thats my own fault.
OVer all i enjoyed the book. It is not my favourite book but i'd probably read it again.

Revolution

From the privileged streets of modern Brooklyn to the heart of the French Revolution, Jennifer Donnelly, author of the award-winning novel A Northern Light, artfully weaves two girls’ stories into one unforgettable account of life, loss, and enduring love. Revolution spans centuries and vividly depicts the eternal struggles of the human heart.

BROOKLYN: Andi Alpers is on the edge. She’s angry at her father for leaving, angry at her mother for not being able to cope, and heartbroken by the loss of her younger brother, Truman. Rage and grief are destroying her. And she’s about to be expelled from Brooklyn Heights’ most prestigious private school when her father intervenes. Now Andi must accompany him to Paris for winter break.

PARIS: Alexandrine Paradis lived over two centuries ago. She dreamed of making her mark on the Paris stage, but a fateful encounter with a doomed prince of France cast her in a tragic role she didn’t want—and couldn’t escape.

Two girls, two centuries apart. One never knowing the other. But when Andi finds Alexandrine’s diary, she recognizes something in her words and is moved to the point of obsession. There’s comfort and distraction for Andi in the journal’s antique pages—until, on a midnight journey through the catacombs of Paris, Alexandrine’s words transcend paper and time, and the past becomes suddenly, terrifyingly present.

Revolution is an amazing story I have been captivated by it. I couldn't find a  hard copy of the book  from the library so i ended up getting an audio book. I love it the story is powerful and strong its amazing. I  wanted to read the book after getting caught on the trailer.

I am in love with this story.

The running dream

Winner of the 2012 Schneider Family Book Award

Jessica thinks her life is over when she loses a leg in a car accident. She's not comforted by the news that she'll be able to walk with the help of a prosthetic leg. Who cares about walking when you live to run?

As she struggles to cope with crutches and a first cyborg-like prosthetic, Jessica feels oddly both in the spotlight and invisible. People who don't know what to say, act like she's not there. Which she could handle better if she weren't now keenly aware that she'd done the same thing herself to a girl with CP named Rosa. A girl who is going to tutor her through all the math she's missed. A girl who sees right into the heart of her.

With the support of family, friends, a coach, and her track teammates, Jessica may actually be able to run again. But that's not enough for her now. She doesn't just want to cross finish lines herself—she wants to take Rosa with her.

I read The running dream in May 2014.

One word came to mind  Inspiring!
This book is so inspiring and just makes a person happy to be alive.
I  found this book from a trailer on youtube and ordered it on the spot i con't find the trailer again sadly.
The story is truly inspiring  it makes you want to get up and go and not give up.
Its a beautiful story that reaches into your heart and stays with you.
The story flowed  magnificently and was so moving.
I love to run and this book makes me want to run. I used to run all the time now i don't as often I find myself to tried and feeling  very often sorry for myself this book  digs into me  and makes me realize i need to be more thankful then i have been even when i am sick or tired.
wrote another of my favourite books (Flipped) I am so pleased with this story.

Chase your dreams don't give up push yourself give it your all follow through with your dreams and believe in yourself because anything is possible

Nameless

When Camille was six years old, she was discovered alone in the snow by Enrico Vultusino, godfather of the Seven—the powerful Families that rule magic-ridden New Haven. Papa Vultusino adopted the mute, scarred child, naming her after his dead wife and raising her in luxury on Haven Hill alongside his own son, Nico.

Now Cami is turning sixteen. She’s no longer mute, though she keeps her faded scars hidden under her school uniform, and though she opens up only to her two best friends, Ruby and Ellie, and to Nico, who has become more than a brother to her. But even though Cami is a pampered Vultusino heiress, she knows that she is not really Family. Unlike them, she is a mortal with a past that lies buried in trauma. And it’s not until she meets the mysterious Tor, who reveals scars of his own, that Cami begins to uncover the secrets of her birth... to find out where she comes from and why her past is threatening her now.

A new twist to snow white.
A very cool and interesting book  thats also a scary kinda story.
I started  Nameless  yesterday night and finished it this afternoon.
The story was  like a very twisted version of snow white in many ways...

At first i wasn't sure i would like this book when i noticed it on the shelf at the library, but I hate judging a book by its cover or just its discription. the description of the book intrigued me so I decided i would try it out.

Over all an exciting book with a different take to  the idea of snow white.
I enjoyed it and look forward to the sequel.

Feed Back. Book two in the Variant series.

Good reads description.
Benson Fisher escaped from Maxfield Academy’s deadly rules and brutal gangs.

Or so he thought.

But now Benson is trapped in a different kind of prison: a town filled with hauntingly familiar faces. People from Maxfield he saw die. Friends he was afraid he had killed.

They are all pawns in the school’s twisted experiment, held captive and controlled by an unseen force. As he searches for answers, Benson discovers that Maxfield Academy’s plans are more sinister than anything he imagined—and they may be impossible to stop.

They are all pawns in the school’s twisted experiment, held captive and controlled by an unseen force. As he searches for answers, Benson discovers that Maxfield Academy’s plans are more sinister than anything he imagined—and they may be impossible to stop.

Variant blew readers away with its breakneck pacing, flawless plotting, and impossibly high stakes. It earned starred reviews from both Publishers Weekly and VOYA, which described it as “an exciting, edge-of-your-seat read that combines psychological themes from works like Lord of the Flies, The Hunger Games, and Ender’s Game in a truly unique way.”

In Feedback, Robison Wells delivers all the answers you’ve been craving—with enough twists and turns to keep readers guessing until the very last page.

Feed back is just as weird and strange as Variant, with robots being like a double of real people. A freaky school with robots, a prison and crazy happenings.

I mean i liked it, i would possibly read it again.
I look forward to seeing what happens in the third book.

Paper Towns.

Title: Paper Towns.

Level: (YA)
Published date: September, 22nd,2009 originally published in October, 16th, 2008.
Publisher: Speak.
Number of pages: (305).
Date read:  August, 1st, 2014.

Goodreads Description.

Two-time Printz Medalist John Green’s New York Times bestseller, now in paperback!

Quentin Jacobsen has spent a lifetime loving the magnificently adventurous Margo Roth Spiegelman from afar. So when she cracks open a window and climbs back into his life — dressed like a ninja and summoning him for an ingenious campaign of revenge — he follows.

After their all-nighter ends and a new day breaks, Q arrives at school to discover that Margo, always an enigma, has now become a mystery. But Q soon learns that there are clues — and they’re for him. Urged down a disconnected path, the closer he gets, the less Q sees of the girl he thought he knew.

The book was broken into 3 parts, and I honestly felt completely different about each of them. I read this book as i read Fault in our Stars which is also by John Green. It was okay, by far i wont be reading it again.  It was a little confusing and had way to much sexual content for my liking.  It was funny at times, then down right depressing, I didn't like alot of the langue used.
