Some thoughts about dresses

Its that time of year with proms and graduations and summer close by new dresses and cool designs.  I love seeing some of the really unique dresses. Modesty is important and for many of us its hard to find modest dresses at times.  You really don't know what is out there till you take a look.

We don't have to go all out on dresses, we can do simple and still make it beautiful. Our society now days is extremely focused on beauty and self image. And it can be a struggle at times yes, but  not sub coming to our peer groups or all that is being shoved at us is important.

Its important to feel good about ourselves and to take care of our bodies. Our bodies are temples of the Lord.  We are beautiful inside and out. Remember that in the end who we really are doesn't get shared by how we dress or what we look like, its whats in our hearts, how we treat others and who we are as people.

When I do look for a dress to ware I always consider a few things. I have always been more of a tomboy but as I get older I am enjoying being who I am.  With Captivenia I have discovered a  deeper meaning of love and being who I am.  I love the simpler but elegant medieval dresses that are out there to ware not just as costumes but in daily life.
